I desperately need some help with the joint sales/vision 2020 trailer installation in order
to make some forward progress. Attached :find the site swvey and a scaled sketch of the .
trailer location,
1 .have called Gopher State One. Call for locates, The tracking number. is 527780,
scheduled for marking by September 17lb at 10:00 AM. It is our hope to set the trailer
. and/or lay temporary utilities on that day. The trailer needs water and sew.er service, .and I
do not know where these utilities are for sure. A decision needs to be made if we are
going to tie into sewer or use a pump3;ble tank.
Our hope is to have the trailer entry door at grade level, which will require that we dig
out a t(;.<uporary pit under the trailer. The trailer skirting will then be bacldilled at the
front and side(s) of the trailer. When we are finishec;1 with the site, the trailer will be
removed, .the site grades and grass restored, and all temporary landscaping and site
improvements removed.
Please let me know when I can begin excavation, and where the utilities are.

Please read the exchange below. Was it your understanding that the exterior finishes on the ends ( Main and Dakota)
were brick the first floor and other vinyls the second and third floor? If so are you all ok with that or do you want them to
treat all faces of the building the same (ie brick on all three floors except around decks). I apologize for beating this issue
but the staff wants to be absolutly certain that you guys are comfortable with this building exterior. We will be looking at it
for a long time and many other buildings will undoubtedly use it as a template. Besides, the public has a million invested
and we want to be sure they will be comfortable with their investment. Could you get back to me as soon as possible?

I thought, and I would believe that the Council understands, that the brick would be on the two street sides on all three
floors. To me to have vinyl siding on the top two floors of this building on Dakota and Main just doesn't seem right. Not
my call though so I am just offering my opinion. I don't have a clue about the 60% Class 1 material issue.

Bud, atter you mentioned the questions about the exterior materials for this building I became a little worried and so I
called Kelly Murray. She says that on the two faces to Main and Dakota, the brick is to the top of the first floor only.
On all the other faces the brick goes all three floors except within the deck areas and under the eves. I honestly do
not know where that leaves us but if there is a question I suspect we can call Kelly or Roger. Kelly did not believe that
the 60% applies in the downtown zoning district. I told her that to council expects a first quality building. But, I don't
know the answer to her statement. (PS I understand that they hope to begin demolition of the exiasting structures on
the property next Monday around 9 am.) Frank

The City of Prior Lake has completed its review of the site plan application for the
Lakefront Plaza Sales Trailer. This letter serves as the official notice of approval of the
site plan for this trailer. Approval of this site plan is subject to the following conditions:
1. There will be no sewer and water connections to this trailer.
2. The sales trailer must be skirted on all sides.
3. The north property line must be staked to ensure proper placement of the trailer.
4. The sales trailer must be removed upon completion of the Lakefront Plaza project.
I have also signed off on your building permit application and forwarded it to the Building
Department. If you have any questions about the building permit, please contact Bob
Hutchins at 952-447-9851.

1. A complete Zoning/Land Use Application form, signed by the applicant
and the fee owner of the property.
2. The name, address and telephone number of the owner, the owner's
agent, the applicant, surveyor and designer of the project.
1 . A certificate of survey of the property;
2. A detailed site plan based on the current survey. The site plan
must include the following information:
a. Site dimensions
b. Site conditions and existing development on the subject
property and immediately adjacent properties.
c. The proposed use of all areas of the site.
d. The proposed density, type, size and location of all dwelling
units, if dwelling units are proposed.

e. The general size, location and use of any proposed
nonresidential buildings on the site.
f. All public streets, entrance and exit drives, and walkway
locations.
g. All parking areas.
h. Trash enclosures.
i. Outdoor mechanical equipment.
3. Landscaping Plans, including irrigation plans.
4. A tree inventory and tree preservation plan.
5. Lighting plans showing all outside and building exterior lighting.
6. Signage Plans.
7. Grading and erosion control plan, including storm water drainage
calculations
8. Utility plans.
9. A fire protection plan identifying fire lanes, hydrant locations, post
indicator valves and Siamese connections.
10. Building plans, including exterior wall elevations, exterior building
materials and cross section floor layouts.
11. Any other information the City may request to determine whether
the proposed project meets the requirements of this subsection.
