A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE
FOR THE PRIOR LAKE VFW
Motion By: McGuire Second By: Braid
WHEREAS, The Prior Lake Volunteer Fire Department is planning their annual fund-raising
chicken feed on Sunday, September 9, 2018, in the Prior Lake VFW building
and parking lot; and
WHEREAS, The Prior Lake VFW has a Club liquor license which allows them to sell
intoxicating liquor on the premises of 16306 Main Avenue SE; and
WHEREAS, The Prior Lake VFW is planning to sell alcohol outside their licensed premise
at this fund-raising event.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. A temporary on-sale liquor license is granted to the Prior Lake VFW, 16306 Main Avenue SE
for September 9, 2018.
3. Service and consumption of alcohol is limited to a fenced area.
4. All liquor servers shall receive training prior to the event.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20TH DAY OF AUGUST 2018.
