AGENDA ITEM: MWF PROPERTIES WORKFORCE HOUSING PROJECT
DISCUSSION: Matt Yetzer, Development Associate with MWF Properties will be in attendance to
discuss their upcoming multi-family development project.
In December 2018, MWF Properties requested and received approval for an
amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Plan and Zoning Map for
approximately 5.5 acres located at 2495 154th Street (CSAH 82). The proposed
amendments were as follows:
• Amend the 2030 Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation from R-MD (Urban
Medium Density) to R-HD (Urban High Density)
• Amend the official Zoning Map from A (Agricultural) to R-3 (High Density
Residential)
MWF Properties was just awarded MHFA funding for their Prior Lake project and
will be submitting a Conditional Use Permit application in spring 2020 for Spring
Lake Lofts, a 64-unit apartment project at 154th Street and Mystic Lake Drive. They
will be presenting a brief company introduction and workforce housing overview;
along with providing an update on Spring Lake Lofts and a potential 2nd phase.
