HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-036 Spring Lake Ridge Preplat 1 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 20-036 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT TO BE KNOWN AS SPRING LAKE RIDGE Motion By: Burkart Second By: Thompson WHEREAS, The Prior Lake Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on January 13, 2020, to consider a request from Winkler Land Company (the “Developer”), on behalf of the owners, to approve a Preliminary Plat for the following property: Government Lots 1 and 2, Section B, Township 114, Range 22, EXCEPT the following described parcels: Sunrise View, according to the recorded plat thereof AND EXCEPT First Addition to Sunrise View, according to the recorded plat thereof AND EXCEPT That part of Government Lot 1, Section 8, Township 114, Range 22, lying Westerly of the Westerly line of the plat of Sunrise View and Easterly and Northerly of the following described line: Commencing at the northwest corner of said Section 8; thence on an assumed bearing of east along the North line of said Section 8 a distance of 2,630.15 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 11 degrees 51 minutes 39 seconds West a distance of 980.40 feet; thence North 79 degrees 27 minutes 47 seconds East a distance of 735 feet more or less to said Westerly line of Sunrise View and there terminating AND EXCEPT A tract of land in Government Lot 2, Section 8, Township 114, Range 22, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of First Addition to Sunrise View; thence South 4 degrees 19 minutes 30 seconds East 98.15 feet; thence North 83 degrees 19 minutes 30 second East 220 feet more or less to the shore of Spring Lake; thence Northerly along the shore of Spring Lake to the intersection with the South line of said First Addition extended; thence South 80 degrees 05 minutes West 220 feet more or less to the point of beginning, subject to a road easement over the Westerly 33 feet AND EXCEPT That part of Government Lot 1 and Government Lot 2, Section 8, Township 114, Range 22 described as follows: A strip of land 17.0 feet in width lying Westerly and adjacent to the Westerly boundary of the plats of Sunrise View and First Addition to Sunrise View Scott County, Minnesota. PID: 259080022, 259080010 WHEREAS, Notice of the public hearing on said Preliminary Plat was duly published and mailed in accordance with the applicable Prior Lake Ordinances; and 2 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission heard all persons interested in the Preliminary Plat at the public hearing, and the Commission recommended the plat for Spring Lake Ridge to the City Council on a 5-0 vote subject to certain conditions; and WHEREAS, The City Council finds that the proposed Preliminary Plat for Spring Lake Ridge meets the requirements of Subsections 1002.200 and 1103.200 (Preliminary Plat) of the Prior Lake Zoning Ordinance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council approves the Preliminary Plat for Spring Lake Ridge subject to the following conditions: a. The developer shall revise the plans according to the February 11, 2020 City Engineering & Public Works Dept. Memorandum b. The developer shall revise the plans according to the February 14, 2020 City Community & Economic Development Dept. Memorandum c. The developer shall obtain a grading permit from the City Engineering Department prior to any grading or tree removal on the site. d. The Developer shall obtain the required permits from other state or local agencies prior to applicable on the site. 3. The applicant shall submit an application for Final Plat within twelve (12) months after approval of this Preliminary Plat. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2ND DAY OF MARCH 2020.
