HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-042 Approving Amendments to the 2020 Budgets for Project Expenditures Carried Forward from 2019 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 20-042 ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE 2020 BUDGETS Motion By: Thompson Second By: Braid WHEREAS, The 2019 and 2020 budgets were adopted on December 03, 2081 and December 02, 2019, respectively; and WHEREAS, The budgets do not reflect the expenditures for Finance professional services, IT consultant, Police equipment, Parks trail sealcoating, health insurance reserve, Public Works reorganization and infrastructure management software, trail replacement, emergency siren replacement, City Hall boiler replacement and the 2020 portion of the utility billing system replacement; and WHEREAS, The products were not purchased or the work for each of these projects was not completed in 2019 but will be in 2020. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. A 2019 health reserve accrual of $43,410 and related 2019 budget amendment is authorized. Fund- Expenditures 2019 Budget Amendment General Fund 35,224 Water Fund 2,984 Water Quality 1,380 Sewer Fund 3,552 Totals $43,140 3. The 2020 Budgets are amended to reflect the expenditures of $752.205 authorized in 2019 that will be completed in 2020. Funding will be provided by the respective Fund reserves.
