HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-043 Approve an Amendment to the 2040 Comp Land Use Plan Rezone of 4285 Fountain Hills Dr 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 20-043 A Resolution Amending the 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan from Business Office Park (C-BO) to Community Retail Shopping (C-CC) Motion By: Thompson Second By: Braid WHEREAS, Trinity Development, on behalf of the property owner, has applied to the City of Prior Lake to amend the 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan at 4285 Fountain Hills NE (“Parcel”) to allow a proposed senior care facility project; and WHEREAS, The City Council desires to amend the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Map of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan to re-guide the land use on this Parcel from Business Office Park (C-BO) to Community Retail Shopping (C-CC); and WHEREAS, After a public hearing was held on March 9, 2020, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposed amendment to the 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council of Prior Lake approves an amendment to the 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan amending the Parcel (253900020) from from Business Office Park (C-BO) to Community Retail Shopping (C-CC). Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 16th day of March 2020.
