CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
October 5, 2020
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Briggs called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were Councilors Thompson,
Burkart, Braid. Absent: None. Also, in attendance were City Manager Wedel, Economic
Development Director McCabe, City Attorney Schwarzhoff, Assistant City Engineer Monserud,
Police Chief Frazer, Communications Director Elbon, and City Clerk Orlofsky.
PUBLIC FORUM
Sue 14985 Hillside Circle NW, she is speaking on behalf of the pickleball club and they wanted to
thank the City Council for supporting their Pickleball Improvements.

PRESENTATIONS
6A. Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Chief Frazer explained that October is recognized as Domestic Abuse Violence month and in-
troduced advocate Katie Shaumann from Southern Valley Alliance.
Katie Shaumann, thanked the City Council for their continued support for victims of Domestic
Violence.
Mayor Briggs proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
