HomeMy WebLinkAbout22-019 City Manager 2022 Employment Agreement RESOLUTION 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 22 - 019 Adopt a Resolution Approving the City Manager's 2022 Employment Agreement and Salary Motion By: Thompson Second By: Churchill WHEREAS, The City Manager and the City Council on behalf of the City of Prior Lake entered into an employment agreement commencing on October 14, 2019; and WHEREAS, The City Council conducted a performance evaluation of the City Manager on January 18, 2022 for the year 2021; and WHEREAS, The performance evaluation was deemed satisfactory and warrants a continuation of the employment agreement as amended for the year 2022; and WHEREAS, The City Manager’s salary will be adjusted per the terms of the 2022 employment agreement effective January 1, 2022. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Manager’s base salary shall be $167,936 effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022, which includes a market adjustment of 2.1% based upon a 2021 compensation study and cost of living salary adjustment of 3%. 3. All other terms and conditions of the employment agreement for 2022 are hereby approved effective January 1, 2022. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 18th day of January 2022.
