RESOLUTION 22-059 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BI-ANNUAL BODY WORN CAMERA AUDIT Motion By: Burkhart Second By: Thompson
WHEREAS, the City of Prior Lake strives to have transparency in all issues related to policing in our communities: WHEREAS, the City of Prior Lake has recently passed a resolution addressing diversity, equity and inclusion, this audit further supports these DEI efforts; WHEREAS, the City of Prior Lake and all within the PLPD work to build relationships based on trust and transparency with our community and the members of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community who we also provide police services to; WHEREAS, We have reviewed this bi-annual audit which found 100% compliance with all state laws and best practices, we accept this audit as prepared by independent auditor Lynn Lembcke. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. We accept this audit as prepared by independant auditor Lynn Lembcke. This audit shall be forwarded to all required members of the State legislature as outlined by state staute.
