IF YOU CAN ADD MORE CLIMBING APPARATUS FOR BOTH THE 2-YEAR OLD EQUIPMENT, AND 12-YEAR-OLDS THAT WOULD MAKE IT IDEAL FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN. THEY SIMPLE LOVE CLIMBING ON PIPES AND ROPES. THE SWING OPTIONS ARE BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE REQUESTED. GREAT WORK.LOOKS GOOD. MAYBE A TALLER SLIDE ON THE BIG PLAY PLACE AND MONKEY BARS ARE TWO ADDITIONAL REQUESTS. WALKING TRAILS AND BIG TREES ARE A NICE TOUCH.WHAT ABOUT A PUTTING GREEN FOR THE ADULTS AND KIDS? I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED MORE CLIMBING STRUCTURES FOR OLDER KIDS. NO ONE EVER USES SWINGS. PARKING IS AN ODD ARRANGEMENT.THE WOOD CHIP TRAIL IS INVASIVE TO NATIVE WOODED PLANTS. THE PAVED TRAIL LOOP ENDS “FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT” WHICH THE CITY ALREADY REJECTED. SUGGEST SAVING THE $ TO PAVE A SHORT SIDEWALK TO NOWHERE AND SPEND UP ON THE OTHER AMENITIES. WHY IS THERE A PARKING LOT? WHAT ABOUT THE DOG PARK THAT WAS REQUESTED? IT APPEARS THAT THE FEEDBACK GIVEN PREVIOUSLY WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED. WHY BOTHER ASKING RESIDENTS OPINION IF YOU JUST THROW IT AWAY? PERSONALLY FEEL THE ZIP LINE TAKES UP A LOT OF SPACE AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE SPACE USED WITH SOMETHING ELSE.THE PARKING SPACES ARE A HAZARD TO NOT ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE/USE MERIDIAN WAY BUT THE CHILDREN VISITING THIS PARK. WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE PARKING SPACES, THIS WAS TO BE A WALK TO NEIGHBORHOOD PARK. WHERE IS THE DOG PARK THAT WAS REQUESTED? WHY DID YOU IGNORE THIS? WHIRL SEAT AND SPRING RIDERS ARE DANGEROUS AND DO NOT INDUCE CHILDREN’S IMAGINATIONS. NAMING AN ITEM FOR 2-5 YEAR OLDS DO NOT MAKE IT SO. PLACING THE SWINGS IN A LOCATION SO CLOSE TO OTHER STRUCTURES IS AN INVITATION TO ACCIDENTS. THE LOCATION IS VERY STEEP, AND THE PLACEMENT OF THE PATHS MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO USE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE AN OFF LEASH FENCED DOG AREA FOR THE PARK. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE PARK NEEDS ANY OFF STREET PARKING. THIS IS A COMMUNITY PARK AND SHOULD ENCOURAGE WALKING AND BIKING. ACCESSIBLE PATHS AND SLOPES SHOULD BE AT A LOW GRADE TO ASSIST ALL AGES USING THIS COMMUNITY PARK.IS A SPLASH PAD A CONSIDERATION?CAN WE DO A POOL INSTEAD OF A PARK?EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE LONG LASTING VS NETTED. A SHELTER IS NEEDED AND THE LOT IS TO SMALL FOR ALL OF THESE THINGS IN YOUR SURVEY. TOT LOTS APPEAR TO GET THE LEAST USE FROM WHAT I OBSERVE WITH THE POSSIBLE EXCEPTION OF TODDLER SWINGS. THANK YOU!A PATH FOR BIKING AND WALKING AROUND THE PERIMETER WOULD BE GREAT! WE HAVE VERY LITTLE SIDEWALKS ON SOME OF OUR BUSIEST STREETS IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD AND IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR KIDS RIDING BIKES. SO A SAFE PLACE FOR THIS WOULD BE IDEAL!THE PAVED LOOP WILL NOT BE MAINTAINED IN THE WINTER AS THEY NEVER ARE WHEN THEY GO TO AN UNDEVELOPED AREA. DON’T WASTE MONEY BUILDING A SIDEWALK THAT RUNS THE LENGTH OF A RESIDENTIAL LOT UNTIL YOU NEED ONE. OTHERWISE, NICE PLAN.OTHER COMMENTS
