Antenna Mounts : X Sector : The proposed Verizon antennas will be installed on existing 8' -6" long 2-7/8" O .D . pipes (2 .5" Sch . 40 assumed) that are attached to the exterior stem wall of the water tower located at the address listed above . Refer to the structural detail drawings completed by Ulteig Engineers dated in 2015 for more information. It is our professional opinion that the existing mounting pipes and attachments to the water tower wall are structurally adequate to support the proposed Verizon antennas and associated equipment along with the required loading as stated in the AWWA Code . Y & Z Sectors : The proposed Verizon antennas will be installed on proposed 8' -6" long 2 " Sch. 40 pipes that are to replace existing antenna mount pipes attached to the exterior stem wall of the water tower located at the address listed above . Refer to the structural detail drawings completed by Ulteig Engineers dated in 2015 for more information . It is our professional opinion that the proposed mounting pipes and the existing attachments to the water tower wall are structurally adequate to support the proposed Verizon antennas and associated equipment along with the required loading as stated in the AWWA Code . A structural review of the existing antenna mounts supporting the existing antennas that will remain was not completed and is not covered in the scope of this report as the loading on those mounts is not changing due to this Verizon antenna upgrade . Distribution Box and RRU Mounts : The proposed Verizon distribution boxes and RRU' s will be installed on existing and proposed mounting pipes attached to the stiffener ring on the interior wall of the water tower located at the address listed above . Refer to the structural detail drawings completed by Ulteig Engineers dated in 2015 for more information . It is our professional opinion that the existing mounting pipes are structurally adequate to support the existing and proposed Verizon loading and associated equipment along with the required loading as stated in the AWWA Code . Leer Penetrations : At sector X there will be proposed 1 " diameter holes drilled through the water tower wall for a means of routing the proposed jumpers to Verizori s equipment located on the exterior wall of the water tower . The proposed holes shall be placed in accordance with the structural details completed by Ulteig dated in 2015 and shall be placed such that they are not at a seam in the water tower wall. It is our professional opinion that the drilling of these holes, in accordance with the details completed by Ulteig and standard industry practice, will not impact the structural integrity of the existing water tower structure . ,Subject: Verizon Wireless Antenna Installation Site: MINC Mystic Lake Optimization Address: 5580 Cedarwood Street Prior Lake, MN 55372 Job No: R15400052 Page 3 Globally: The increase in loading on the existing water tower structure, as a result of installing the proposed antennas and equipment, is considered minimal and is not expected to diminish the structural integrity of the existing water tower structure . A structural review of the water tower itself was not performed and is not part of the scope of this report.
