HomeMy WebLinkAbout22-141 Authorize No Parking area - Fish Point Road Phase 2 Reconstruction Project (2023-02) 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 22-141 AUTHORIZATION OF NO PARKING AREA – FISH POINT ROAD PHASE 2 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (2023-02) Motion By: Braid Second By: Burkart WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 22-023, adopted on February 7, 2022, the City’s consultant, WSB & Associates, has prepared plans and specifications for the Fish Point Road Phase 2 Reconstruction Project (2023-02); and WHEREAS, the Fish Point Road Phase 2 Reconstruction Project is proposed to be financed by Special Assessments, Tax Levy, Municipal State Aid, Sewer Fund, Water Fund, and Water Quality Fund; and WHEREAS, in order to utilize Municipal State Aid funding, the State Aid Office requires a resolution authorizing a No Parking area within the project limits; and WHEREAS, the Fish Point Road Phase 2 Reconstruction project has one area that is recommended for No Parking as noted in the report; and WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the plans and supports the recommended No Parking area within the Fish Point Road Phase 2 Reconstruction Project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council hereby authorizes No Parking signage to be placed appropriately in the specified location on Fish Point Road. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 21st day of November 2022.
