A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK ORDER FOR THE MARSH DRIVE EXTENSION
FEASIBILITY STUDY (CP 2022-27)
Motion By: Braid Second By: Thompson
WHEREAS, Tradition Development is interested in expanding development to the east of
Pike Lake Landing; and
WHEREAS, with this development, the City will require that the extension of Marsh Drive
be completed to close the existing gap; and
WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk, Inc., a member of the City’s consultant pool, has provided a
proposal in the amount of $34,000 for the preparation of a feasibility study for
this project; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the proposal and recommends executing a Work Order in
the amount of $34,000 with Bolton & Menk, Inc. to complete the feasibility
study at this time.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a Work Order with Bolton
and Menk, Inc. in the amount of $34,000 for the Marsh Drive Extension feasibility study (CP
2022-27).
3. The City Construction Fund (F501) includes $60,000 to cover the cost of the feasibility
study, as well as other ancillary costs for soil borings and wetland services that are
necessary to support the development of the feasibility study.
Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 5th day of December 2022.
