RESOLUTION 23-25
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND RATIFYING THE
ADVERTISMENT FOR BIDS FOR PONDS PARK PHASE 1 (CP 2021-03)

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has ordered the preparation of plans and
specifications for the construction at Ponds Park; and
WHEREAS, the project is planned for advertisement from February 23 through March 16,
2023, with a bid opening scheduled for March 16 at 10 A.M.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by
reference herein, are hereby approved.
3. The Public Works Director has prepared and caused to be inserted in the official newspaper
of the City and on Quest CDN, an advertisement for bids for the making of the
improvements pursuant to the attached plans and specifications. The advertisement states
that the bids will be received by the City of Prior Lake until March 16, 2023 at 10 A.M.. at
which time the bids will be publicly read virtually through Microsoft Teams. Bids will then be
tabulated and will be considered by the Council at the April 17, 2023 Council meeting. No
bids will be considered unless filed before the deadline through QuestCDN and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the
City of Prior Lake in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of such a bid.
4. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason as determined solely by
the City Council.
Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 27th day of February 2023.
