RESOLUTION 24-010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK ORDER WITH WSB & ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES – WATER RESOURCES STAFF AUGMENTATION Motion By: LAKE Second By: CHURCHILL
WHEREAS, WSB & Assoicates, Inc. (WSB) has been providing water resources staff augmentation to help fill the vacancy created when the previous Water Resources Engineeer left employment in April 2023; and WHEREAS, Staff is seeking to execute a work order with WSB to continue these services through the end of the calendar year, or until the water resources position is filled permanently, which ever comes first; and WHEREAS, the $50,960 cost for this work order will be funded through personnel cost savings within the Water Resources Engineer position.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The City Council approves a work order with WSB & Associates, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $50,960 to provide professional engineering services – water resources staff augmentation 3. The cost of this work order will be funded by personnel cost savings within the Water Resources Engineer position. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 23rd day of January 2024.
