RESOLUTION 24-013 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A LUCAS DEVICE Motion By: LAKE Second By: CHURCHILL WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Fire Department has seen an increase in medical related calls; and
WHEREAS, the LUCAS device has been shown to improve quality of chest compressions, increase ETCO2 levels as well as being able to sustain life-saving circulation
during prolonged resuscitation attempts; and
WHEREAS, With Public Safety aid funding, there is no budget impact.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a purchase agreement on behalf of the City of Prior Lake with Lucas our of budget 270-42200.00-55570.00, Public Safety aid.
