A copy of the email is enclosed for your convemence. The request for an extension was in response to a Notice of (Non-Gaming) Land Acquisition Application issued on January 4, 2024, for the Inkpata fee-to-trust application and received by the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota on January 10, 2024. We have considered this request and note the response to be timely; therefore, the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota is granted a 30-day extension through March 10, 2024. We are beginning to assemble the materials necessary to make our response, including the information requested by the BIA Notice of (Non- Gaming) Land Acquisition Application. Gathering this information will require consultation among several City offices and coordination with the City Council. As a result, the initial 30-day comment period which would expire February 9, 2024, is insufficient. The City of Prior Lake invokes the opportunity for a 30-day extension of the deadline to submit comments and the requested information, as provided for in the Notice.
