RESOLUTION 24-022 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUMP REPLACEMENT AT WELL 3 Motion By: BURKART Second By: CHURCHILL WHEREAS, routine maintenance of the city’s production wells is a critical action for
providing clean and safe drinking water for the community; and WHEREAS, Well 3 was installed in 1973 and last rehabilitated in 2017; and WHEREAS, Bergerson Caswell, a reputable contractor in the industry, provided a quote in the amount of $26,550 for recommended service based on their inspection in February 2023; and WHEREAS, the 2024 CIP includes $55,000 for this project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the city standard contract with Bergerson Caswell in the amount of $26,550 for the Well 3 rehabilitation project.
3. Funding for this project shall come from the CIP fund 601-49400.00-55530.00. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 27th day of Feburary 2024. VOTE Briggs Braid Burkart Churchill Lake Aye ☒ ☒ ☒ ☒ ☒
