RESOLUTION 24-026 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUMP REPLACEMENT AT THE CREDIT RIVER LIFT STATION Motion By: Braid Second By: Churchill
WHEREAS, routine maintenance of the city’s sewer lift stations is a critical action to ensure the safe and efficient conveyance of wastewater for the community; and WHEREAS, the Credit River lift station pump has had recent failures due to the presence of corrosive chemicals being processed through the lift station; and WHEREAS, W.W. Goetsch Associates, Inc., a reputable contractor in the industry, provided a quote in the amount of $22,536 to replace the faulty components with a 5-year warranty; and WHEREAS, the Sewer Utility Fund has sufficient funds for this project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the city standard contract with W.W. Goetsch Associates, Inc. in the amount of $22,536 for the replacement of the Credit River lift station pump. 3. Funding for this project shall come from the Sewer Utility Fund.
