Dear Mayor and Council Members:
Bids were received for the above-referenced project on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and were opened
and read aloud. Five bids were received. The bids were checked for mathematical
accuracy. Please find enclosed the bid summary indicating the low bid as submitted by Minger
Construction Companies, Inc., Jordan, Minnesota in the amount of $378,000.00. The Engineer’s
Estimate was $411,200.00.
We recommend that the City Council consider these bids and award a contract in the amount of
$378,000.00 to Minger Construction Companies, Inc. based on the results of the bids received.
