Mr. Monserud, We are pleased to offer the following proposal, to provide a new Master Telemetry Unit for installation at the Public Works Facility and for use with new proposed lift station control panels. Control Panels A One (1) SCADA Master Telemetry Unit (MTU), 120 VAC, UL-508 labeled, NEMA 12 painted carbon steel enclosure with three (3) point latch, as outlined in spec section 40 90 00 and for installation as seen on plan page E1. Proposed panel shall be complete with control power circuit breaker, surge protection, true online UPS, 24 VDC power supply, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC, ethernet switch, cradle point cellular radio, enclosure mounted antenna, back up alarm dialer, relays, terminals, and wireway. Please note, this proposal assumes adequate cellular signal strength utilizing the enclosure mounted antenna. If an outdoor antenna is required additional cost may occur. B One (1) Professional Services, to include but not limited to the following: 1. Programming services necessary to setup and configure the above Programable Logic Controller (PLC). 2. Programming services necessary to configure the above cellular radio. Please note, the city will need to provide a SIM card from their provider for use with the proposed cellular radio. 3. Programming services necessary to configure the above back up alarm dialer. Please note, the city will need to provide a list of contacts and call sequence for use with the dialer. 4. Onsite services necessary conduct one (1) screen review meeting to needed to create a template for implementation of future lift station sites on the SCADA computer. 5. Coordination services necessary to provide onsite lift station checkout for one (1) lift station in conjunction with the 2024 Lift Statin Rehabilitation Project. 6. Programming services necessary to create graphics, alarming and trends, on the existing SCADA computer for Lift Station No. 27 – Lords, utilizing the feedback from the above screen review meeting, and as outlined in spec section 40 90 00 subsection 3.03. 7. Engineering services necessary to provide a complete bill of materials, electrical drawings, and project documentation, with copies provided for insertion in the existing O&M manuals. 8. Training for city staff on-site equal to one (1) 4-hour session, as outlined in spec section 40 90 00 subsection 3.04. Please note, the existing Wonderware application on the SCADA computer will need to be expanded to accommodate sites in the future. Your net price for Item A through B, FOB factory with freight allowed to jobsite including one (1) year warranty from date of startup (not to exceed 18 months from date of shipment)………………. $61,231.00 PLUS TAX (or exempt with ST3 form). Wonderware Upgrade C three (3) Wonderware Software Liscense Upgrades, for installation on the city’s SCADA computers and as necessary to upgrade the existing software tag count 100K packages accommodating the migration of future lift station sites. Please note, this is being provided for budgetary purposes and does not need to be implemented to accommodate the above lift station site, this does not included any programming. Your net price for Items C, FOB factory with freight allowed to jobsite including one (1) year warranty from date of startup (not to exceed 18 months from date of shipment)………………. $18,773.00 PLUS TAX (or exempt with ST3 form). The above price for Items A through C does not include any: 1. Sales or use taxes. 2. Bond costs. 3. License fees or permits of any kind (not related to SCADA software). 4. Electrical installation of any kind. FOR THE SUM OF: $1,900.00 One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars and No Cents SCOPE OF WORK: Price includes all Labor, Materials and Equipment to complete the electrical work for the above referenced project. The proposed amount includes the following: • Permit and inspection fees • Proposal based on all work being conducted during normal business hours • Fastening the new MTU/ Shelves are to be removed by another • One ¾” EMT conduit from Panel EM-1 to MTU (three #12 stranded THHN conductors) • One 15-amp (120-volt) breaker installed • One ¾” EMT conduit from MTU to existing switch (one Cat6 ethernet cable) • One ¾” EMT conduit from MTU to nearest exterior wall (coaxial cable by Automatic Systems • One wall penetration and securing router on the exterior (router by Automatic Systems) • Labor allowance of 4 hours for testing and startup/ Excess time will be invoiced in addition to this quote. The proposed amount excludes the following: • IECC & ASHRAE energy codes • Painting, patching, plumbing, HVAC, concrete work, sheet rocking or steel work • Fire alarm, card access, surveillance, speaker, phone, data, or security wiring unless noted in this proposal 2 • Wiring for any new, existing, or relocated plumbing or HVAC equipment not specified in this proposal • Costs associated with any utility fees associated with installation or temporary power and lighting unless specified in this proposal • Furnishing any roof jacks, flashings, or boots, nor will we install any on the roof for the electrical service to the RTU’s • Any applicable state and federal taxes Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. would like to thank you for the opportunity to provide this Proposal. If this contract is cancelled for convenience after 60 days of the parties execution of same, Cal - Tex Electric, Inc. retains the right to claim for damages associated with materials and equipment procurement, loss of revenue and the reallocation of labor resources. Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. does not recognize nor accept pay-when-paid terms. Cal-Tex Electric, Inc., is not a professionally licensed design firm and as such assumes no liability for design defects or code compliance issues which may be an integral part of the design. Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. assumes no liability for damage or disruption to underground utilities that are on private property and are not located and marked by the Property Owner/Contractor or Customer. In the case of damage or disruption to underground utili ties Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. will do everything possible to repair any damaged underground utilities upon written request by Customer, cost for those repairs will be an extra to this proposal. Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. reserves the right to negotiate the terms and conditions of any subsequent Subcontract issued to Cal -Tex Electric, Inc. which may not include all of the language, conditions and terms of this Proposal in its entirety. In the case of a disagreement between the terms and conditions of this proposal and any ensuing Subcontract, this proposal shall take precedent. Cal-Tex Electric will accept no liability for any equipment supplied by others that is not adequately sized/rated for the available short circuit current. 3 Be advised that the recent variability in the commodities markets may have an impact on our ability to hold some material pricing for your projects. In most cases Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. has been able to lock in pricing on recently awarded projects, however, any Project that has not had a subcontract issued to Cal - Tex Electric, Inc. may run the risk of an increrase until we can lock in those prices. The sooner Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. recieves a subcontract the sooner we can protect the materials pricing used to formulate our proposal. Another way to lock pricing is by the issuance of a “Notice to Intent to Award Subcontract.” Especially if it takes longer than 30 days from receiving our proposal to the formal issuance of the subcontract. Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. is proactivly and dilligently taking all steps necessary to lock in pricing that could be affected by these conditions and will advise each of our customers on a case by case basis of any adjustments to our current contract amounts as a result of upward materials costs as a result of the current commodities instability. Cal-Tex Electric will not be responsible for nor accept any liability, for leaks, negated warranty or other liabilities, damage, disruption, or failure of any kind due to the routing of conduit to service the Roof Top Units (RTU’s) through the bottom of th e unit. Pricing and bid schedule of this proposal do not consider possible labor or material shortages, shipping delays, schedule delays, government orders, or any other delay or encumbrance related to the current instability of the commodities market and the world -wide supply chain disruptions. Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. will NOT be responsible for the off-loading, storage, cartage, loading, placement or handling of any equipment or materials that are furnished by others and subsequently installed by Cal -Tex. Cal-Tex Electric, inc. will provide pricing for these services via a change order proposal upon Customers written request.
