RESOLUTION 24-067 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK ORDER WITH WSB & ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 2024-2025 STORMWATER POND MAINTENANCE PROJECT (CP 2024-09) Motion By: LAKE Second By: BURKART
WHEREAS, the City is required to operate and maintain a system of stormwater ponds as part of a program to meet state-mandated Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) general permit requirements; and WHEREAS, in 2020, the City contracted with WSB & Associates, Inc. to develop a Stormwater Asset Management Program that prioritizes pond maintenance and optimizes the proposed allocation of City funds; and WHEREAS, WSB & Associates, Inc., a member of the City’s engineering consultant pool, has submitted a proposal to provide professional engineering services for the
2024-2025 Stormwater Pond Maintenance Project; and WHEREAS, funding is available in the Water Quality fund to cover the anticipated
expenditure of this work order. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council approves a work order with WSB & Associates, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $44,500 for professional engineering services for the 2024-2025 Stormwater Pond Maintenance Project. 3. The cost of this work order will be funded by the Water Quality fund. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 25th day of June 2024. VOTE Briggs Braid Burkart Churchill Lake
