Hyperlink reference not valid. 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 24-118 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEFERRAL OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR SHIRL RODRIGUEZ Motion By: Burkart Second By: Lake WHEREAS, City of Prior Lake Code 112.100 provides for a deferral of special assessments on homestead property owned by a person who qualifies under one of the eligibility criteria set forth in subsection 112.200 and hardship criteria set forth in subsection 112.300 or subsection 112.500 which allows for exceptional and unusual circumstances; and WHEREAS, property owned by Shirl Rodriguez has been specially benefitted by the 2024 Pavement Management Project (CP 2024-01/PIR24-000001)); and WHEREAS, the property identified as 3895 Raspberry Ridge Road NW, PID# 253950380 has accordingly been assessed in the amount of $1,038.75 (Resolution #24-034); and WHEREAS, City Staff has reviewed the application and finds that it meets the criteria set forth in City Code 112.200, 112.300 and 112.500; and WHEREAS, City of Prior Lake Code 112.400 provides for the termination of deferral. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The special assessments, including the accrued interest, will be deferred for Shirl Rodriguez, 3895 Raspberry Ridge Road NW, PID# 253950380 until the occurrence of any one of the events provided for in City Code 112.400. 3. The City Manager is directed to administer the deferment in accordance with State Statute and City Code. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council by at least two-thirds of its members this 22nd day of October 2024.
