RESOLUTION 24-121 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH RAPP STRATEGIES, INC FOR PARK AND TRAIL PLAN COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES Motion By: Lake Second By: Churchill
WHEREAS, the Prior Lake City Council recognizes the need for strategic communication services to enhance community engagement and outreach efforts about the city’s Park and Trail System Plan; and
WHEREAS, Rapp Strategies, Inc submitted a proposal that outlined specific actions and demonstrated a strong understanding of the city’s needs; and WHEREAS, Rapp Strategies, Inc has relevant experience and a successful track record in providing strategic communication services for similar municipalities; and WHEREAS, after thorough evaluation and consideration, the City Council believes that awarding a contract to Rapp Strategies, Inc is in the best interested of the City of Prior Lake. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the city’s standard contract
with Rapp Strategies in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the proposal, for an amount not to exceed $5,000 per month for the months of November 2024 through May 2025.
3. Contract payments will be coded to 101-45200.00-53100.80 Parks – Professional Services. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 15th day of November, 2024. VOTE Briggs Braid Burkart Churchill Lake Aye ☒ ☒ ☐ ☒ ☒
