Home My WebLink About24-136 Resolution Receiving Bids and Awarding the Contract for the 2024-2025 Stormwater Pond Maintenance Project 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 24-136 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE 2024-2025 STORMWATER POND MAINTENANCE PROJECT (2024-09) Motion By: Burkart Second By: Braid WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2024-067, adopted on June 25, 2024, the city received plans and specifications for the 2024-2025 Stormwater Pond Maintenance Project (2024-09), and the advertisement for bids was scheduled for publication on November 8 and November 15, 2024 with a bid opening of November 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law: ; and WHEREAS, the city attorney has reviewed the bids and supports allowing the low bidder, Quad E Companies, Inc. to withdraw their bid after an incorrect unit price was discovered; and WHEREAS, the city’s consulting engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc. has provided a recommendation letter to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Rachel Contracting, LLC in the amount of $166,204.95. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The bids and tabulation worksheet, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, are hereby received. 3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the city’s standard contract with Rachel Contracting, LLC in the amount of $166,204.95. 4. The cost of this project will be funded by the Stormwater Utility Fund. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 10th day of December 2024.
