RESOLUTION 24-142 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT FOR PURCHASE OF FIRE SAFETY GEAR
Motion By: Burkart Second By: Braid WHEREAS, each Fire Fighter employed with the Prior Lake Fire Department is required to have
turn out gear as part of their personal protective equipment; and
WHEREAS 5 new fire fighters were hired, requiring the purchase of 5 new sets of gear; and
WHEREAS, the cost for all sets of personal protective gear is $20,414.98 which is above the threshold for staff approval and requires city council approval.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to make a payment in the amount of $20,414.98 to secure the purchase of the 5 sets of turn out gear. 3. This payment will be made from the City’s general fund. . Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 10th day of December 2024. VOTE Briggs Braid Burkart Churchil Lake
