RESOLUTION 25-065 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY ON-SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE PRIOR LAKE ROTARY CLUB Motion By: Braid Second By: Lake
WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Rotary Club plans to hold Lakefront Music Fest at Lakefront Park on Friday July 11th, 2025 and Saturday July 12th, 2025; and WHEREAS, State statute allows non-profit organizations to apply for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license as a way to raise funds for their organizations; and WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Rotary Club intends to sell beer, wine, pre-mixed cocktails, and seltzers as part of the Lakefront Music Fest; and
WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Police Department has completed background checks to ensure all temporary liquor license requirements have been met. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. This license shall be valid on July 11 and July 12, 2025. 3. Service and consumption of alcohol is limited to a fenced in area. 4. All alcohol servers shall receive training prior to the event. 5. All alcohol service must cease 60 minutes prior to the end of the last act. 6. All alcohol ticket sales must cease 30 minutes prior to alcohol service cut off time. 7. Attendees may obtain two (2) alcoholic drinks at a time. 8. The Prior Lake Rotary Club shall provide proof of liquor liability insurance as prescribed by M.S. Section 340A.409 to cover this event. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 13th day of May 2025.
