RESOLUTION 25-098 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE MARTINDALE/HENNING/HICKORY RECLAMATION PROJECT (2025-03) Motion By: Braid Second By: Lake
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Martindale/Henning/Hickory Reclamation Project which includes reclamation, bituminous curb, storm sewer improvements, turf restoration and appurtenant work; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, The following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Valley Paving, Inc. Rejected
GMH Asphalt Corporation $596,450.25
Northwest $598,775.00
Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $712,718.00
and WHEREAS, OMG Midwest Inc. Dba Minnesota Paving & Materials of Rogers, MN is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. OMG Midwest Inc. Dba Minnesota Paving & Materials is the lowest responsible bidder.
3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into the City’s standard
contract with OMG Midwest Inc. Dba Minnesota Paving & Materials in the name of the City of Prior Lake for the Martindale/Henning/Hickory Reclamation Project in the amount of $538,830.33.
4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return to all bidders the deposits that accompanied their respective bids.
5. The City Council authorizes the following funding for this project:
6. Construction costs for this project will be recorded in Construction Fund 501-43500.00-55010.00.
