RESOLUTION 25-106 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER FOR 2025-2030 Motion By: Braid Second By: Churchill
WHEREAS, the City of Prior Lake and Independent School District 719, Prior Lake Savage Area School District have a long history of collaboration; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS,
both parties agree that the School Resource Officer program in the middle schools and Bridge ALC has been mutually beneficial; and both the City and the School District desire to continue this program from 2025 to 2030; and a revised Joint Powers Agreement has been drafted and approved by the City Attorney. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The terms of the 2025 – 2030 Joint Powers Agreement are hereby approved. 3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the Joint Powers Agreement on behalf of the City..
