RESOLUTION 25-143 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FURNITURE FOR PONDS PARK Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier WHEREAS, the 2025 Parks CIP includes $30,000 for basketball court maintenance at
Thomas Ryan Park; and WHEREAS, staff recommend using this budgeted amount towards site furnishings at Ponds Park instead, and defering the basketball improvements at Ryan Park to be completed with the future playground project there; and WHEREAS, the actual cost for these furnishings is expected to be under budget based on recent vendor quotes:

and WHEREAS, all proposed purchases will be from state contract or other cooperative purchasing vendors to ensure the best value pricing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager hereby authorize staff to purchase these items. 3. This purchase will be coded to account 430-54200.00-55570.00-PRK25-000001 (Machinery & Equipment).
