RESOLUTION 26-002 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTACT FOR BUILDING MAINTENANCE AT THE WILDS BOOSTER STATION AND WELL HOUSE 6 Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, WHEREAS,
the removal of the generator exhaust stack from the booster station roof is necessary following the relocation of the emergency generator to the exterior of the building; and the roof, fascia, and soffit at the Wilds booster station and well house 6 have reached their expected replacement intervals; and WHEREAS, staff solicited the following quotes to perform this recommended maintenance:
Company Quote
Schwickert’s $104,270
Central Roofing Company $174,300 Nieman Roofing Declined to Quote
and WHEREAS, staff recommend Council award a contract to Schwickert’s in the total amount of $104,270 for this project; and
WHEREAS, this project will be funded from the Water Capital Improvement Plan (Machinery and Equipment 601-494000.00-55570.00) with money carried over from the
generator replacment project in 2025. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The City Council hereby authorizes the execution of a contract with Schwickerts in the amount of $104,270 for the building maintenance at the Wilds booster station and well house 6.
3. Funding for this project shall come from fund 601-494000.00-55570.00 with money carried over from the generator replacment project in 2025.
