RESOLUTION 26-003 A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER 1 FOR THE LAKESIDE SEWER LINING PROJECT (2021-14) Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
the city awarded a contract in the amount of $1,195,629 for the Lakeside Sewer Lining Project to J.C. Dillon, Inc. on September 24, 2024; and the original scope of the project included raising seven manholes throughout the project area; and staff have identified three additional manholes in need of raising; and the cost to raise the additional three manholes is $25,281.93 which represents a 2.1% increase to the construction constract; and
city staff recommend approving Change Order 1 in the amount of $25,281.93 to ensure these manholes are accessible in the event of a sewer backup. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to approve Change Order 1 in the amount of $25,281.93 for the Lakeside Sewer Lining Project (2021-14). 3. The funding for Change Order 1 shall come from the Sewer Utility Fund 604. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 13th day of January 2026.
