CALL TO ORDER Mayor Briggs called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were Councilors Braid, Churchill, Lake and Hellier. Absent: None. Also were City Manager Wedel, City Attorney Kendall, Police Chief Duggan, Fire Chief Steinhaus and City Clerk Simon in attendance. 2. PUBLIC FORUM None. 3. Thank you for all your work. Briggs: Invited the Habitat for Humanity staff for an update. Cecile Bedor: Extremely grateful for this opportunity and the support from the city. Also gave up- dates as to how they are doing on the housing. Briggs: Asked about development gaps and affordability gaps. Cecile Bedor: explained the different resources need to fill both of the gaps. Briggs: Thanked them for their partnership and commented on how important their work is. 6. Resolution Recognizing the Relief Pensions Plan’s Termination on February 28, 2026, and Supporting PLFRA’s Dissolution and Transition to PERA Coordinated Plan City Manager Wedel presented the item. Briggs: Thanked the firefighters for bringing this forward and will be supporting.
