RESOLUTION 26-010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK ORDER FOR THE MEMORIAL PARK MASTER PLAN (2026-10) Motion By: Braid Second By: Churchill
WHEREAS, the renovation of Memorial Park is identified as an important project in the Park and Trail System Plan; and WHEREAS, Memorial Park is a premier community park in Prior Lake, used by many different groups, and a key park serving its neighborhood; and WHEREAS, staff recommend working with a consultant to develop a plan that meets the needs of park users and the community; and WHEREAS, HKGi, a member of the city’s consultant pool, is a reputable and experienced consultant for park and landscape design and construction, and has provided a proposal for developing a Master Plan; and WHEREAS, funding is included in the Revolving Park Equipment Fund to cover the anticipated expenditure of this work order. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The City Council approves a work order with HKGi in an amount not to exceed $74,700 for the Memorial Park Master Plan (2026-10)
3. The Revolving Park Equipment Fund includes funding for this project. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 27th day of January 2026. VOTE Briggs Braid Churchill Lake Hellier Aye ☒ ☒ ☒ ☒ ☒
