MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, July 24, 2025 – 4:00 p.m.
Parkview Community Room
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m. In attendance were Crystal Dvorak, Karin
Logerquist, Erin Belanger Braid, Cassy Bryant, Patty Dronen and Community Development
Director Casey McCabe.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion by CB and seconded by PD to approve the agenda. All in favor.
3. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
A. June 26, 2025
Motion by KL and seconded by CB to approve the meeting minutes. All in favor.
4. PRESENTATION / DISCUSSION
A. None
5. OLD BUSINESS
A. Downtown Sculpture Update
Stone is ordered, should arrive first week of August. Public Works will install it and
then it should be installed in early September.
B. 2025 ACC Budget Review
CM reviews balance statement with the committee. Discussion leads to Sidewalk
Etching status, and where the group is.
C. Sidewalk Quote
Sidewalk etching needs an updated quote and CM will submit to the EDA. Sidewalk
Quote Subcommitee will choose location and send to Casey. Next steps will be
process to select quotes for additional areas in the winter (Police Dept & City Hall).
D. Non-Profit formation
FotA, PL non-profit will be finalized soon!
6. NEW BUSINESS
A. ACC Booth at Pleasant St. Art Walk
KL will take the lead at the booth. The group discusses options for the public to
engage at the Art Walk, will schedule a virtual meeting for the subcommittee to
discuss on August 31st at 4:00 PM at Edelweiss Bakery.
B. ACC Committee Branding
CD prepared branding options for the ACC and FotAPL. Group discusses ideas and
Casey will confirm city branding with Prior Lake Communications staff.
B. ACC Member Vacancies
There are currently 7 members of the committee, we could post for vacancies for 2
additional members. Group discussion to possibly include additional members in 2026,
and remain 7 members for now.

i. Sidewalk Stamping/Etching - (Ale, Crystal, Erin)
ii. Prior Lake Community Artist Program - (Ale, Cassy, Karin, Allison)

Crystal)
iv. Support Community Arts [ChalkFest, Pleasant St. Art Walk, Civic Groups, Music
Events, Etc.] (Marie, Patty, Karin)
v. Incorporation of Arts Component in New Construction - (Ale, Marie, Erin)
vi. “Friends of Arts” type Non-Profit Formation - (Erin, Jean, Cassy, Karin)
C. ACC Member Comments / Ideas
i. EB recommends moving the August 28 meeting to August 21.
8. ADJOURNMENT
Motioned by KL and seconded by PD to adjourn the meeting. All in favor. The meeting
adjourned at 4:56 pm.
