MEETING MINUTES
February 26, 2026 – 4:00 p.m.
Parkview Community Room
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:07 p.m. In attendance were Ale Pelinka, Erin Belanger
Braid, Marie Boucher Hoese, Karin Logerquist, Cassy Bryant, Community Development
Manager Casey McCabe
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion by MHB and seconded by AP to approve the agenda. All in favor.
3. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
A. September 4, 2025
Motion by MHB and seconded by KL to approve the meeting minutes. All in favor.
4. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
A. Motion by KL and seconded by CB to maintain all current positions. All in favor.
5. OLD BUSINESS
A. None
6. NEW BUSINESS
A. 2026 Strategic Priorities
i. Short Term -
i. add The Amazing Art Race – suggested by PD. All agree to begin this project
planning.
ii. Sidewalk Etching/Stamps – group discusses upcoming opportunities for stamping
at new apartments, new restaurants.
iii. Community Artist Program – group wants to prioritize this, need to research grant
funding and donation opportunities
iv. Incorporation of Arts Component in New Construction – group discusses bringing
up city code to include arts requirement
v. Group reviews Mid-Term & Long-Term priorities
B. Utility/Transformer Wraps & Historical Markers
i. Group discusses opportunities to add these to strategic initiatives
C. ACC Vacancy
i. Group discusses adding another member in August
7. OTHER BUSINESS
A. Staff Updates
i. None
B. ACC Member Comments / Ideas
i. Update next meeting to March 19th
ii. Add Community Artist & Art Race to next agenda
8. ADJOURNMENT
Motioned by EB and second by KL to adjourn the meeting. All in favor. The meeting
adjourned at 5:00 pm.
