RESOLUTION 26-094 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR LIGHTING UPDATES AT THE LIBRARY Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, the Library currently has numerous light fixtures (chandeliers) that are outdated and no longer functioning properly; and WHEREAS, staff solicited and received the following two quotes to replace the chandeliers with more efficient, updated fixtures:
Company Quote
Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. $43,100 Master Electric $47,890 and
WHEREAS, staff recommend awarding a contract to Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. in the amount of $43,100; and WHEREAS, funding is available in the 2026 CIP to cover this expenditure (440-45500.00-55050.00). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council authorizes a contract with Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. in the amount of $43,100 for lighting updates at the Library. 3. Funding will come from the 2026 CIP (440-45500.00-55050.00).
