RESOLUTION 26-125
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING A MEMBER TO SERVE ON THE CITY OF PRIOR LAKE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Motion By: Hellier Second By: Lake WHEREAS,
the current term of Economic Development Authority (EDA) President Kim Prchal will
expire on December 31, 2026; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS,
the EDA Bylaws allow for reappointment of commissioners who reach the end of their term provided one commissioner from the city council and commission president, or commission vice president in the event the president position has reached the end of a term, determines the eligible incumbent shall be put forward for reappointment or if the vacancy shall be opened for public application; and Kim Prchal has expressed interest in serving an additional six-year term on the EDA; and city councilor / EDA commissioner Braid and EDA vice president Boucher-Hoese have recommended Kim Prchal be put forward for reappointment; and
the city council considered and approved the recommended reappointment of Kim Prchal to another term on the EDA on September 8, 2026. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein as if fully set forth. 2. That the following individual is appointed to fill the following term on the City of Prior Lake Economic Development Authority: Appointee Date Appointed End of this Appointment Kim Prchal January 1, 2027 December 31, 2032
