RESOLUTION 26-143 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR TRAIL REPLACEMENT AT LAKEFRONT PARK Motion By: Braid Second By: Lake
WHEREAS, the City has approximately 40 miles of maintained trail which includes trails in City parks; and WHEREAS, as budget allows the City maintains this network of trails every year through various maintenance methods (crack sealing, seal coating, patching, etc.); and WHEREAS, Staff solicited quotes to replace the asphalt on the Lakefront Park trail shown in the attached exhibit:
Company Quote
Plehal Blacktopping, LLC $75,465.00
Prior Lake Blacktop, Inc. $80,668.00 and
WHEREAS, Staff recommend awarding a contract to Plehal Blacktopping, LLC. in the amount of $75,465.00 to complete the asphalt trail replacement in Lakefront Park.; and WHEREAS, funding is available in the Parks F430 fund to cover this expenditure. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council authorizes a contract with Plehal Blacktopping, LLC in the amount of
$75,465.00 to replace a section of trail within Lakefront Park. 3. Funding will come from the Parks F430 fund.
