RESOLUTION 25-144 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR HICKORY SHORES AND LAKERS LIFT STATION PUMP REPLACEMENT PROJECT Motion By: Braid Second By: Lake
WHEREAS, sanitary lift stations are generally recommended for pump replacement every 15-20 years; and WHEREAS, Hickory Shores lift station contains refurbished pumps from 2009 and Lakers lift station has pumps from 2004; and WHEREAS, the pumps in these lift stations have reached the end of their expected replacement interval; and WHEREAS, Electric Pump, a reputable and experienced contractor in the industry that has
completed previous lift station rehabilitation projects for the City, has submitted a quote in the amount of $66,990 to complete the necessary work at both lift stations.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Electric Pump in the amount of $66,990 for the replacement of pumps in the Hickory Shores and Lakers sanitary sewer lift stations. 3. The funding for project will come from the Sewer Utility Fund 604-49450.00-54010.82. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 13th day of October 2026.
