2006 POLICE REPORT () Y.
No one person or law enforcement agency can be aware of every situation that
occurs in a neighborhood at all times. That's why neighbors are the best
defense against crime. Crime and the opportunity for crime go hand-in-hand.
By implementing basic prevention programs and techniques, having neighbors
watch out for one another and reporting suspicious activity, neighbors create a
united front against crime. Programs that help to educate property owners,
managers and residents improve the livability of the neighborhoods by
reducing the opportunity for crimes to occur.
Two such programs offered by the Prior Lake Police Department are
Neighborhood Watch and Crime Free Multi-housing
