PRESENTATION OF PROCLAMATION TO SCOTT COUNTY
OFFICIALS FOR COMPLETION OF MAJOR ROADWAY
IMPROVEMENTS IN PRIOR LAKE.
History
Prior Lake, like any other developing communities requires a modern
transportation system for both emergency and non-emergency access
and egress. County and state roadways serve an important role as
major thoroughfares in our transportation system. The state and
county are responsible for the reconstruction and maintenance of such
roads.
Current Circumstances
Scott County has just completed reconstruction of three very important
roadway segments in Prior Lake including:
-CSAH 21 east ofFish Point Road
-CSAH 42 from McKenna to Femdale
-CSAH 21 from CSAH 82 to CSAH 42
Each of these road segments substantially improves the city's
transportation system and enhances community attractiveness.
Conclusion
It is only fitting that the Mayor and City Council recognize the
excellent work of Scott County in completing these important road
segments. Coffee and cookies will be available to all in attendance
and the Mayor will read the attached proclamation. Following the
reading of the proclamation, the Council may wish to take a ten minute
bread to afford each of you the opportunity to thank Scott County
representatives personally.
