The City Code Section 303.300 requires that a personal services license be issued by the City Council in order for an individual to perform massage therapy in the city. This license would be valid until December 31, 2003. Ms. Hauger is planning to perform massage therapy at Eagle Creek Chiropractic. The Issues The Prior Lake Police Department has investigated Ms. Hauger persuant to the information required on the application and has found no reason to deny the application. Ms. Hauger has paid the $100.00 investigation fee and the $250.00 application fee. She has provided the city with proof of completion of massage therapy schooling as required by the City's massage therapy ordinance. The City Council has the following alternatives: 1. Adopt a motion as part of the consent agenda approving the massage therapy license request for Mary Hauger. 2. Deny the massage therapy license request.
