Under State Statute the City has the right to deny lawful gambling permit requests with respect to pull tabs. The State Gambling Control Board does not limit the number of lawful gambling premise permits an organization can have, nor does it limit the number of lawful gambling premise permits held for a specific location. This would be the first lawful gambling premise permit for Green Heights Lake Club. The city currently has one other organization that has two lawful gambling premise permits. The Prior Lake Hockey Association has provided the City with the necessary documents and paid the $100.00 permit fee. The Hockey Association appears to be in compliance with City Ordinance requirements. Council has the following alternatives: 1. Adopt the proposed premise permit. 2. Remove from the Consent Agenda for further discussion. Approve the premise permit for the Prior Lake Hockey Association for Green Heights Lake Club.
