PRESENTATION - SHERIFF KEVIN STUDNICKA
Scott County Sheriff Kevin Studnicka assumed office on January 1,2007. We
asked the Sheriff to address the City Council regarding his priorities, policies
and objectives as the new Scott County Sheriff. Following Sheriff Studnicka's
presentation, council members will have an opportunity to ask questions of the
Sheriff. The Council may wish to consider one or more of the following
questions:
· As new Sheriff, what is your biggest concern about law enforcement in
Scott County?
· What is your top priority for accomplishment during your term as Sheriff?
· What sorts of new partnerships between the Sheriff's office and Scott
county cities will be explored?
· Are there areas where the Prior Lake Police and Fire Departments can
enhance cooperation with the County?
· What priority will be given to recreational enforcement: 1) surface water
enforcement; and 2) snowmobile enforcement?
