CONSIDER SALE APPROVAL OF MUNICIPAL VEHICLES
MARCH 19, 1990
The City advertised for sale a 1985 Chevrolet
Impala and a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice. Both
vehicles were former squad cars with high
mileage. The earlier model has been used by
the Building Inspection Department.
Sealed bids were solicited for the disposition
of these vehicles as authorized by City Code.
Staff is requesting Council approval of the
highest price offer.
The City opened bids at

Staff would recommend awarding the sale of
1985 Chevrolet Caprice to Dianne Shoemaker
the high bidder in the amount of $1,905.00

Beltline Motor Center for $3,557.00
The bids submitted were quite representative
of past sales of the City for comparable model
years, mileage consideration and condition of
the vehicles themselves.
