CONSIDER APPROVAL OF ELECIlON JUDGE APPOINTMENTS
OcroBER 4, 1993
The upcoming election on Tuesday, November 2, 1993 will consist of a
general citywide election for the following offices:
CITY
Mayor
Two Council seats
SCHOOL BOARD
Three Board members
Also included on the election ballot will be a District 719 school board
request to increase its general education revenue by $374.43 per pupil unit
beginning in 1994.
The General election will be a joint effort between the City and School
District, with City Staff coordinating the process. The City Council must
authorize the appointment of election judges to conduct the election day
activities.
This will be the second year of the implementation of the new redistricting
