CITY MANAGER REVIEW COMMITTEE
CONSIDER APPROVAL OF 1990 CITY MANAGER PER-
FORMANCE EVALUATION COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS
FEBRUARY 4, 1991
On January 25, 1991 Councilmember Larson and
Mayor Andren met to consider the City
Manager's performance record for calendar year
1990. The evaluations submitted by the
Council have an average range of 3.6
(commendable) to 5 (distinguished). Out of a
possible score of 80 points, Mr. Unmacht
received 68.1, well into the commendable
range. The Committee also reviewed the 1990
goals set by individual Councilmembers. In
our opinion, Mr. Unmacht has met or is in the
process of meeting the goals that are under
his direct control and authority.
The 1990 evaluation forms along with
individual Councilmember's 1991 goals and
comments have been given to Mr. Unmacht for
his review. We have instructed Mr. Unmacht to
prepare a list of personal goals for our
review and to assimilate the individual goals
of the Council into one summary goals
statement. It is our opinion that Mr.
Unmacht continues to do an outstanding job as
Manager and is a valuable asset to the
community. The Performance Evaluation
Committee recommends approval of a salary
increase based upon our examination and
comparison of the following information
