PARK TRAIL SYSTEM
APRIL 15, 1991
At the City Council meetin9 of December 17,
1990, the City Counc1l approved the
recommendations of the Parks Advisory
Committee (PAC) to proceed with the
development of a city-wide Trail System. The
Conceptual Plan for the Trail System has been
completed, and the PAC has recommended the
first phase of the Trail System connect
Lakefront Park with C.R. 21, and C.R. 39 from
C.R. 44 south to Highway 13. The top priority
of the PAC is C.R. 44 from the High School to
Highway 13. However, that portion of C.R. 44
is programmed for re-construction in 1993
which would be the time to put in that segment
of trail. This item is to request Council
approval of a feasibility study to identify
the costs for construction of the first
phase.
