The purpose of this Agenda item is to initiate the process for local improvements set forth in the 2000 portion of the 2000-2004 Capital Improvement Program in accordance with Minnesota Statutes (M,S.), Chapter 429, This process applies to all projects that will be financed in whole or part through special assessments or bond proceeds, The first step in the process is for the Council to order preparation of a Feasibility Report on the improvement projects. Fish Point Road from TH 13 to CSAH 44 and Fairlawn Shores Trail from 150th Street to TH 13 includes milling the existing bituminous surface, installing a bituminous overlay, and appurtenant work; and 2. Oakridge Circle, Flandreau Circle, Fullbright Circle, Indian Ridge Circle, Euclid Avenue, Maves/Ellen Circle, Shannon/Prior Circle, and Forsythe Road by the construction of storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, and appurtenant work. 3. Linden Circle by construction of storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, and appurtenant work. WHEREAS, it is proposed to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that the proposed improvements be referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are feasible and as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection with other improvements, and the estimated costs for the improvements as recommended.
